Partners in Grain WA (PinG WA) is a state-wide, not-for-profit organisation supporting WA farm businesses and strengthening the WA agricultural industry by providing valued and dynamic professional development opportunities.
PinG WA is very much driven by farmers, for all members of the farmer business…. And their community
As PinG WA is not a commercial organisation we do not compete with services that are already available. Our role is to provide services and opportunities that are not being delivered or are not readily accessible to rural WA. Our part-time Coordinator and Board of Management act as a support mechanism to get professional development happening where and when it is required.
Partners in Grain was launched as a national organisation in 2001 and was managed in WA by a State Reference Group. In 2017 PinG WA became its own incorporated association and the national organisation transitioned to an Alliance model.
PinG WA is a member of the Partners in Grain Alliance. The purpose of the PinG Alliance is to foster collaboration, information sharing, communication and support between its members (Vic/Tas, QLD, SA, WA and NSW) who are not-for-profit organisations, that deliver professional development to the Australian agricultural industry.
