INSPIRE complements PinG workshops by focussing on broader topics and issues (global, national, business and individual) that impact WA farm businesses and the women who are so vital to their success.
The program is curated by a sub-committee of the PinG WA Board and includes keynote, panel and concurrent sessions presented by a selection of industry and non-agricultural professionals and growers. Highlighted in the feedback from the INSPIRE 2016, grower lead sessions are integral to the program.

INSPIRE brings together farming women from across WA for two days of networking and learning. Focusing on broadacre farming, INSPIRE is for women who are highly involved in their farm business and are interested in increasing their own skills, capacity and confidence for the benefit of their business, their community and the wider industry. Although there are numerous local women’s networks throughout WA, there is limited opportunity to learn across the regions.
INSPIRE is only open to growers, sponsors and speakers. In 2016 INSPIRE quickly sold out so we’ve moved to a larger venue to enable more delegates to attend. Numbers are still capped, so we recommend registering early to ensure you don’t miss out.
We also recommend registering with a friend and making the most of the discounted twin share accommodation available at the Esplanade Hotel. That way you’ll have someone to bounce ideas off once you get home.
The INSPIRE Summit is a niche opportunity for the women involved in the farm business. All other PinG WA training opportunities are for all members of the farm business.
The Esplanade Hotel Fremantle (Rydges) has offered a discounted room rate for INSPIRE delegates.
Superior Single or Superior Twin - $160 per room
Buffet Breakfast - $20 per person
Valet Parking - $10 per vehicle (discounted from $30)
This discounted rate is available for 3 days either side of INSPIRE.
Other non-discounted accommodation options within walking distance include:
- Quest Fremantle: 600m away on Pakenham Street
- Be. Fremantle: 1.4km away on Mews Road
- Quality Suites Fremantle: 500m away on Essex Street
Feedback from INSPIRE 2016
Well done on such an incredible summit! Everyone I’ve spoken to was just buzzing from the experience – and were blown away by the speakers and content of the sessions. We were so thrilled to be involved – and you must be just so happy with how it all went.
Just a quick note to say really well done on pulling together such an awesome event. Thanks also for the chance to be involved as a sponsor and presenters. We think it ended up being a great profiling opportunity for us and we thoroughly enjoyed the chance to attend and be involved. Are there plans to repeat the event and if so open it up to a larger audience?
I’ve just finished speaking to one of the grower speakers today who has agreed to come and speak to a group of my clients about Farm Advisory Boards and I have another client who has agreed to meet to facilitate a farm succession meeting. So it wasn’t just the farmers that got something out of INSPIRE, I too have learned a lot and put that in to action.
Congratulations on a fantastic Summit last week. The feedback I received from staff members who attended was excellent. I am really disappointed that I didn’t have more time at the Summit but really enjoyed the Sundowner.
From Professional Speakers….
Well done on putting together such a fantastic event - awesome vibe and lots to pick up and learn.
Congratulations on creating such an amazing conference!
Ladies…. The Inspire Summit was one of THE BEST events/ conferences I have attended for some time.
Congratulations to all involved. IF you every want to go into event management, I would love to recommend you.
I learnt a lot myself which is always a bonus!
What a great job you and the team did. Was really well organised and the programme was obviously really well received. Thanks for inviting me to be a part of it.
From Grower Speakers….
You all created a truly wonderful event for women in agriculture to feel connected and motivated. Congratulations.
I wanted to pass on my congratulations to PinG for organising such a great event. I really enjoy spending time with like-minded women and also learning relevant and valuable skills. Once again thank you for inviting me to share our story.
Thankyou for you and your team's awesome organising. I had a fabulous time at the summit and have heard really great feedback. I think it was exceptionally well organised and ran like clockwork.
I have personally received some great feedback from my presentation on the day, which also helps to reassure us that we are heading in the right direction - sometimes we do wonder about the extra work we create for ourselves and have to remember to give myself my own little speech about the benefits!
Can’t begin to tell you what a fantastic 2 days this was and especially for a “suck it & see first go”!
I have no doubt that everyone would have left with something inspirational. Variety is key and you had that in spades.
Personally I left with a surprising new respect for a life coach and have since had the most open & candid discussions with a variety of women & ages locally about the value of “looking after self”. Thanks for inviting me to be a speaker and covering my rego. I feel it was such a privilege to be there I am happy to donate my $500 to the next inspire event or to the PinG coffers.
Thanks for the opportunity to speak. I’m like you in that I firmly believe in improving skills for all involved in a farming enterprise and applaud PinG for the conference you put together.
Could you please keep the $500 assigned for me and use it to continue the growth and improvement of PinG.
