Partners in Grain WA (PinG WA) is a leading business skills training organisation providing WA farmers and primary producers with highly credible, relevant and valuable professional development opportunities.
Over the last five years PinG WA has grown significantly delivering more than 110 business skills workshops to over 1,400 WA farmers in their own communities. PinG WA has doubled its workshop suite in 18 months to deliver on the needs of farmer businesses in an increasingly complex and competitive environment.
PinG WA’s training and professional development strengthen the knowledge base and generate innovation within the agricultural industry by giving farm business partners the confidence and skill to make positive changes.
PinG WA is seeking a professional and highly motivated Executive Manager. This position is responsible and accountable for achieving the PinG WA 2018-2021 strategic plan in conjunction with the Board, building the reputation and profile of PinG WA within Primary Production sector in WA (and nationally), managing and administering the external and internal operations PinG WA, and providing consistent high-level advice to the Board. Other key duties include business development, marketing, workshop/ event/ program development and community and stakeholder consultation.
The full-time position reports directly to the Board and leads a small team of staff and sub-contractors. The successful application will need to provide their own office and vehicle. Anticipated commencement date is December 2018.
